RVR Forum examines market disruptors

The BVRLA’s next Residual Value and Remarketing (RVR) Forum, to be held on 10 February, will see speakers representing auction houses and dealers giving their views on the market in 2022, including potential disruptors.

Work is underway to secure an academic speaker for the RVR Forum agenda to present on the motor industry after the EU exit. The BVRLA’s policy team will be giving a horizon scan of the short and long term likely legislative changes which could impact the market.

Geoff Grindle, Head of Asset Pricing and Valuations at Arval is taking over as Chair of the RVR Forums and will host what will hopefully be the only virtual RVR Forum for 2022. It is intended that Forums later in the year will be held in person rather than online, Covid restrictions permitting.

During 2022 there will be three RVR Forums, and members can send up to two delegates to each event by paying an annual subscription of £500+VAT.

There will also be a Technical and Operational Management (TOM) Forum on 3 February, one of three TOM Forums throughout the year, with an annual subscription as described above for the RVR Forum.
