BVRLA Committees consist of representatives from small and medium-sized businesses as well as larger organisations and multi-nationals. Having representation from across all membership categories ensures that the BVRLA is kept informed of what issues matter most to members, and can collectively agree on a course of action.
BVRLA Committees
In addition to the Committee of Management, the association has four sector-specific Committees and two subject-specific Committees
Committee of Management
The Committee of Management is the BVRLA’s board of directors, responsible for strategic direction and policy as well as ensuring that the association is run on a sound financial basis.
Commercial Vehicle Committee
The Commercial Vehicle Committee consists of member representatives from a cross-section of large and small organisations operating LCVs and HGVs.
Leasing Broker Committee
The Leasing Broker Committee consists of member representatives from a cross-section of large and small organisations, including intermediaries operating in vehicle leasing and their funders.
Leasing and Fleet Management Committee
The Leasing and Fleet Management Committee consists of member representatives from a cross-section of large and small organisations who own or manage leased vehicles.
Rental Committee
The Rental Committee consists of member representatives from a cross-section of large and small organisations operating in the vehicle rental and car club sectors.
Residual Value & Remarketing Committee
The Residual Value & Remarketing Committee consists of member representatives from the rental, leasing and fleet sectors who focus on issues relating to the residual value of vehicles and resale as part of the de-fleet process.
Technical & Operational Management Committee
The Technical & Operational Management Committee consists of member representatives from the rental, leasing and fleet sectors who have an interest in new technologies and innovations affecting operational effectiveness.
The BVRLA also hosts a series of subject-specific Working Groups attended by subject specialists from across membership.
