VE103B Certificates

It is a legal requirement that vehicles travelling into mainland Europe must carry their DVLA-issued V5C (vehicle registration) certificate. For rental and leasing companies, who do not want to release the V5C, the BVRLA provides the VE103B (Vehicle on Hire Certificate).

RISC

RISC is the BVRLA’s risk management tool for rental and leasing companies. It allows businesses to qualify their customers when hiring vehicles.

Stolen Vehicle Reporting

The Stolen Vehicle Reporting pack contains important information for both BVRLA members and police officers. The BVRLA wants to raise the standard of the rental and leasing industry's basic investigation procedures by sharing best practice on collecting detailed and relevant evidence so that the police can provide more efficient and effective assistance.

Vehicle Mileage Database

The BVRLA’s vehicle mileage database contains several million records for vehicles currently or previously owned by BVRLA members. Private buyers and motor traders can access this mileage information through partners such as Autotrader, Experian and HPI, enabling them to verify a vehicle’s mileage before purchasing.
