The BVRLA Parliamentary Reception, hosted in the House of Commons, provides the opportunity for members, Ministers, MPs, Peers and other influential guests to come together in support of the economic, societal and environmental contribution being made by the UK vehicle rental, leasing and fleet sectors.
Parliamentary Receptions in 2023

The BVRLA is hosting two Parliamentary Receptions in 2023, taking place in March and November.
On Wednesday 15 March, the first Reception of the year saw the launch of the association's renewed Fleet Charging Guide and Fleet Friendly Charging Index. The second will follow on Wednesday 8 November and will feature the latest Road to Zero Report Card - more details to follow.

One hundred BVRLA members and staff were joined by two government ministers, three shadow ministers, the chair of the BEIS Select Committee, 18 Select Committee members, three shadow spokespeople and three Peers, as well as other guests and officials - making the 2019 Parliamentary Reception, the biggest ever.
2018 Event Highlights
30 MPs and Peers joined over 100 BVRLA members and guests at a Parliamentary Reception in the House of Commons to launch the BVRLA ‘Plug-in Pledge’ outlining members' commitment to see its combined plug-in vehicle fleet size surge from 50,000 to to 720,000 by 2025.
