- Regulatory Insights – The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)’s Costas Pittas will deliver a 20-minute update on the evolving regulatory landscape, followed by a 10 minute ‘In Conversation’ with the BVRLA’s Legal and Compliance Director Shashi Maharaj exploring practical ways brokers can prepare.
- Profit Through Product Innovation – Chaired by the BVRLA’s Member Services Director Simon Tebbutt, an expert panel will explore how diversifying products and services can unlock new revenue streams and strengthen customer relationships.
- Economic Outlook – Glynn Jones from the Bank of England offers a clear picture of the wider forces shaping the market.
- Women in Broking – A session spotlighting the positive impact of the Broker News mentor programme and how members can get involved.
The agenda also features a session on new car price trends, lightning talks on inclusive recruitment and learning and development, a panel discussion on customer expectations, and a keynote from OEM sponsor Chery UK. The day will conclude with networking opportunities, giving delegates the chance to connect with peers, speakers, and industry leaders.
This week’s BVRLA blog features Tony Lewis, Global Head of Fleet at conference partner INEOS Automotive. He explores not only work-focused 4x4s but looks at how leasing brokers can add value by guiding clients through a complex landscape, with credible, commercially viable solutions: Bridging the gap: why rugged vehicles matter for brokers in 2025 and beyond.
