Due to high demand, a new date has been released for the SM&CR: are you ready? course, which will be held on 19 September in Amersham.
The three-hour course to support FCA-regulated members with the transition to the new Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR) is proving extremely popular as firms prepare for the go-live date of 9 December.
Course attendees will learn about the background to the change, understand the differences between Approved Persons and SM&CR and understand the new Code of Conduct. The course will provide details of the potential impact as a result of the move and assist with the next steps required to ensure compliance.
Anyone with responsibility for the implementation for the regime will benefit from attending including senior managers responsible for compliance and HR, legal and operational staff.
