FCA issue reminders for Principal and AR Reporting

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has issued a reminder to regulated members to check their reporting requirements and their accounting reference date.

Principals are reminded to check when their REP025 return is due. December 2023 accounting reference dates (ARD) have passed. Firms are advised to log onto RegData to check when their return is due and submit their REP025 within 60 business days after their ARD.

Firms with multiple ARs/IARs to report on should read the REP025 FAQs for help on how to upload the data in bulk.

Failure to report on time will incur a late return notification and £250 administration fee.

The FCA is also reminding firms to attest to their Appointed Representative details and check they are up to date. Find out more about how to attest your AR/IAR details on the FCA website.

Firm Details Attestations must be completed within 60 business days of accounting reference date.

Failure to report will incur a late return notification, £250 late return fee, and possible enforcement action.
