Small businesses can network with senior representatives from across the Department for Transport (DfT), as well as other local businesses from Plymouth and the surrounding areas. DfT Group and other key stakeholders are hosting the in-person Small Business Supplier and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Supplier Event at the Crown Plaza Plymouth on 24 September.
This is the 22nd regional event of this nature to be held throughout the UK, with more planned later this year.
The event will include a keynote from Paul Rodgers, Department for Transport Group Commercial Director, while also providing networking opportunities with the Department for Transport, HS2 Ltd, Network Rail, National Highways and more.
Key suppliers will share best practice on how to become a sub-contractor in the supply chain. The Crown Commercial Service will provide details on the SME friendly frameworks available and how to enrol.
