Compliance spotlight on Consumer Duty and Complaints

A spokesperson from HM Treasury is taking the headline spot at next week’s Compliance Forum, tackling the topic of Consumer Credit. Subscribers to the forum, taking place online on Thursday 20 July, will also hear from subject matter experts on Consumer Duty and Complaints.

The Compliance Forum agenda will also include two panel sessions, the first on ‘Operating the Duty after implementation’ with speakers from DWF Law, the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) and Inchcape. The second panel session will be on the topic of ‘Complaints: reviews and resolution’ with Deloitte, Shoosmiths, Step Change and the BVRLA.

As part of the association’s hybrid forum calendar, the event will be held online with the 16 October Forum taking place in-person in London.

The BVRLA’s 2023 Compliance Forum programme is supported by specialist legal firms Shoosmiths LLP and DWF Law LLP, who will host the forums and provide access to sector experts.
