The BVRLA is providing a comprehensive SM&CR Development Programme to support regulated members with the implementation of the FCA’s Senior Manager and Certification Regime.
With the deadline of the 9th December rapidly approaching for businesses to implement compliance with the new regime, a 5-step programme has been designed to incorporate a blended learning experience including 1-2-1 support, e-Learning modules, and personalised feedback and advice.
The 5-step programme combines expert guidance with independent learning which can all be completed during times of remote working:
Step 1: Check your Business Type with the FCA Checker in support with the BVRLA SM&CR factsheet.
Step 2: Choose from three modules covering SM&CR content on the BVRLA e-Learning platform that are tailored to your business type.
Step 3: Attend the BVRLA SM&CR Development Programme interactive webinar with compliance expert Tony Doidge. Have any questions answered that have arisen from your prior learning and receive guidance on your next steps as a business.
Step 4: Be issued with an example Statement of Responsibility and be tasked with creating your own.
Step 5: Attend a BVRLA SM&CR Development Programme question and answer session with the BVRLA Compliance team, to summarise your learning and ensure you are prepared for your next steps as a business.
The first interactive webinar will take place on the 14th of May and learners will be given the tools to complete Steps 1 and 2 prior to this.
