CMA price transparency webinar

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has published a consultation on the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA) draft guidance for businesses on the price transparency provisions.

The DMCCA applies to all consumer-facing businesses. The guidance covers proposed dos and don'ts when it comes to price transparency. This will have an impact on all member businesses and members need to provide input if they believe the guidance may cause any sector-specific difficulties.

There is an hour-long webinar on Wednesday 9 July at 2pm which members can join. More information including link to register: Consultation events: draft guidance for businesses on the price transparency provisions of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 | CMA Connect.

The webinar is to provide information and a summary of the draft guidance, the CMA will provide the context for the consultation as well as describe the key components of the guidance, ending with a short Q&A.

Members are asked to provide any comments they may have on the draft guidance to [email protected] so that the BVRLA can feed these back to the CMA at a roundtable meeting on 17 July. Initial comments requested by 14 July.
