New Compliance Forum: your questions answered

The first Compliance Forum is taking place on Thursday 20 April in London at law firm Shoosmiths. It will focus on ‘Compliance in the Age of Consumer Duty’. The half-day event will include keynote speeches on commissions and the Consumer Credit Act (CCA). The keynotes will be interspersed with panels exploring Consumer Duty and what motor finance regulation will look like in 2030. 

Speakers for the inaugural event include Polly Ashford, Manager, Retail and Motor Finance at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Adrian Dally, Director of Motor Finance and Strategy at the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA), Lauren Pamma, Director at the Green Finance Institute (GFI), Roger Potgieter, Partner at Shoosmiths, Stephen Adams, Senior Director at Global Counsel and Lynda Gibson, Head of Compliance at Fleet Alliance.

The BVRLA’s 2023 Compliance Forum programme is supported by specialist legal firms Shoosmiths LLP and DWF Law LLP, who will host the forums and provide access to sector experts. 

BVRLA Forums are run on a subscription-based model. Members can subscribe to the full Compliance Forum programme via the BVRLA website. An annual subscription costs £500 + VAT (£300 + VAT for SMEs) and includes two tickets for each of the three events in 2023.
