The BVRLA’s Head of Learning and Development, Mark Pow, and Consumer Duty trainer Andy Rayner, will give an overview of the Consumer Duty training opportunities provided by the BVRLA. The programme contains a trio of courses, each targeted at colleagues of differing levels, spanning management through to front-line staff. Andy is a senior trainer with a proven track record of working with large corporate organisations such as Ford, Leaseplan UK Ltd and Toyota Financial Services to name a few and is very experienced in the motor industry.

The agenda also includes Harry Madan, Head of Compliance and Governance at the BVRLA and Phillip Garlick, Managing Director at Product Partnerships, who carry out the BVRLA’s audit programme, looking at Consumer Duty as part of the audit and the trends seen so far this year. Guidance will be provided on how members can implement effective plans and avoid common issues found through the audit programme. Phillip will also share top tips for Brokers and take questions to make sure they’re ready in time for the July deadline.

This free, member only, 90-minute webinar will also provide an overview of Consumer Duty and background on the resources made available by the association to date. The BVRLA’s Legal and Membership Director, Shashi Maharaj, will explain what is available to members and the steps they should be taking in the coming weeks.
