As quarantine restrictions have been lifted at the border, the BVRLA has reported a surge in demand for VE103B vehicle on hire certificates.
The vehicle on hire certificate is the only recognised alternative for the DVLA-issued V5C (vehicle registration) certificate, which must be carried when a vehicle is taken abroad.
Members are being reminded that there is a free-to-access suite of print, digital and social communications material to help members inform customers about what they need to know when taking a vehicle abroad - including their obligation to have a VE103B.
Login to the BVRLA website to access the Taking a Vehicle Abroad Communications Toolkit which is located under News & Media on the BVRLA website.
Those working for a member organisation, who do not have a website account can register for one online.
Members who need to order more VE103B certificates in anticipation of an upturn in demand, can do so via the BVRLA website.
