Over 80 delegates were at the event including senior management, compliance, and legal representatives from across BVRLA membership. Delegates took in a packed agenda covering topics spanning Commissions, Consumer Duty, CCA reform and the future regulatory framework of motor finance.

Speakers at the Forum included Shoosmiths partner Roger Potgieter, who provided an update on Commissions; and Stephen Adams, Senior Director at Global Counsel with a presentation on CCA reform. Separate panel discussions featured representatives from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) and many more expert guests.

The BVRLA’s 2023 Compliance Forum programme is supported by specialist legal firms Shoosmiths LLP and DWF Law LLP, who will host the forums and provide access to sector experts. Two more events will take place in July and October 2023.

BVRLA Forums are run on a subscription-based model with limited spaces remaining on the 2023 programme - enquire about becoming a subscriber.
