The Financial Conduct Authority has published two new short videos to support regulated firms with making financial promotions compliant.
The short videos share examples of good and bad practice case studies when promoting financial services and outline the regulator’s expectations for promotions to be clear, fair and not misleading.
One case study looks at consumer credit and focuses on car finance, whilst the second uses a claims management company. Both videos can be viewed in just over six minutes.
Members can also read the FCA’s Guidance on Social media and customer communications for further support on compliant communications.
