Small businesses can network with senior representatives from across the Department for Transport (DfT), as well as other local businesses from Cardiff and the surrounding areas. DfT Group and other key stakeholders are hosting the in-person Small Business Supplier Event at the Hilton Cardiff on 23 July.
This is the 21st regional event of this nature to be held throughout the UK, with more planned later this year.
The event will include a keynote from Paul Rodgers, Department for Transport Group Commercial Director, while also providing networking opportunities with the Department for Transport, HS2 Ltd, Network Rail, National Highways and more.
Key suppliers will share best practice on how to become a sub-contractor in the supply chain. The Crown Commercial Service will provide details on the SME friendly frameworks available and how to enrol.
