Cost of Living crisis: resources for members

As millions of individuals and firms face increasing pressures from the rising cost of living, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has compiled its relevant resources into a single reference point.

Spanning the FCA official publications, letters and updates, the “Cost of Living: Information for Firms” webpage has been designed to help firms support their customers as household expenditure is expected to rise further.

The BVRLA has also created a Consumer Advice page to encourage customers to speak with their vehicle lease provider as soon as possible if they are experiencing financial difficulties.

Separately, the FCA has advised that over the coming months it will be making some changes to its website overall by refreshing the content and design.

The FCA wants the website to be easier to navigate to help users find what they are looking for, and to know when information has been updated. It is also reviewing the content to make information as clear and accessible as possible.

The FCA welcomes feedback. Sign-up to participate in future testing or contact the website team with any questions or feedback via [email protected].
