The Financial Conduct Authority has published a 7-minute video sharing advice and tips from senior figures across the banking sector who have been operating under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR) since 2016.
As of December 2019, BVRLA Leasing Brokers and other FCA solo-regulated firms will be subject to the new regime so are encouraged to get prepared sooner rather than later.
BVRLA Compliance Officer Hayleigh Clayton, who recently published a BVRLA Blog: FCA-regulated firms must get ready, get set… is advising members to take a look at the advisory video published by the FCA earlier this month:

The BVRLA will be publishing a factsheet and launching a new SM&CR training course to support members with the transition.
