Countdown to first Leasing Broker Conference

The BVRLA’s first dedicated conference for leasing brokers is taking place next week in London. There is still time to book a place at this free event and hear from a packed agenda of speakers with a focus on both compliance and business development.

The day will begin with a keynote session from economics and innovation expert James Woudhuysen, a visiting professor from London South Bank University who will provide an update on what’s happening in the automotive industry and wider economy.

Among the speakers lined up for the day are Peter Ewing from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) who will talk about the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR) and how to meet the challenges it brings. Jo Davis of Locke Lord LLP will talk about the key issues and takeaways from the FCA’s Motor Finance Review. Sarah Conway and Mark Hollands from the Financial Ombudsman Service will share insight into the service’s work and case studies of complaints.

Adam Lawrenson from Albion will talk about customer retention and scaling your business and David Watts from Arval will cover navigating change in an unpredictable fleet market.

The event will take place on Tuesday 21 May, see a full agenda and book a place on the BVRLA website.
