Keynote from top Economist at Industry Outlook Conference

David Smith, Economics Editor at The Sunday Times, is back by popular demand as a keynote speaker for the BVRLA’s Industry Outlook Conference in early December.

David’s update ‘The Fiscal Future: Policy, Politics, and the Business Environment’ at the Conference will come shortly after the Budget on 26 November. As well as looking at Government’s tax and spending priorities, he will give a big-picture outlook for 2026 and beyond, also focusing on politics and foreign affairs.

This year’s event will take place on Thursday 4 December at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire. It is designed for all BVRLA members, operating every type of vehicle and business model.

The 2025 Industry Outlook Conference will also feature a look at the Industry Outlook Survey results with a panel of industry leaders, an update from the DVLA plus deep dive industry specific sessions.
