To provide members with a comprehensive understanding of its implications for vehicle supply and how it may influence discussions with manufacturers, the BVRLA is hosting an exclusive Deep Dive event on 14 February.
The Fleets in Charge ZEV Mandate Deep Dive will delve into the potential impacts of the sales mandate on vehicle supply in the UK. ICDP, renowned experts in vehicle distribution, will explain the various paths to compliance that original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) may pursue, presenting representative scenarios. These scenarios will illuminate possible OEM strategies, encompassing channel dynamics and broader impacts on the internal combustion engine and ZEV markets for both cars and vans.
The half-day event (9am – 2pm) will be highly interactive, allowing members to test their assumptions around OEM behaviour and the complex market distortions the ZEV mandate is expected to create.
