Rental trainer Ilaria Pareto has proved extremely popular, she has decades of rental industry operational and training experience and has delivered several well-received courses for the sector throughout 2022.

Ilaria trained recent sessions on the Department for Transport’s Rental Vehicle Security Scheme which is an integral part of the BVRLA’s Code of Conduct, and the Your Introduction to the Rental Industry course which is ideal for new starters or colleagues who may need a refresher. Attendees will learn about 'best practice' in the industry, achieve a solid knowledge of administration, rental transactions, insurance, and customer qualification, while also consolidating customer service skills including complaints. The BVRLA’s Conciliation Service Manager Sallie Catchpole recently attended the Your Introduction to the Rental Industry course and commented “This was a good course as it wasn't just about customer service but trained on specific rental topics such as cover vehicle insurance, Penalty Charge Notices, stolen vehicles etc. So, it felt relevant to the participants from the rental sector. The trainer was excellent and really knew her subject.”

The BVRLA is offering further support for the rental sector with a 2FOR1 offer on its Your Introduction to the Rental Industry courses during 2022. The 2FOR1 offer applies for two spaces on our Your Introduction to the Rental Industry course, booked at the same time. Delegates can attend courses on different dates, and delegate details can be confirmed closer to the course date.
