The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency has confirmed that EU drivers’ hours and tachographs rules will change on 20 August 2020.
Operators and drivers should review the changes to the current rules and prepare to comply, however, members should note that this does not impact on the exemption for vehicle rental delivery and collection drivers who do not need to record hours on a tachograph as they are not carrying passengers or goods.
