BVRLA Webinar on the Government’s Rental Vehicle Security Scheme

The BVRLA is hosting a webinar for rental and commercial vehicle members on Counter Terrorism and the Department for Transport’s Rental Vehicle Security Scheme.

The webinar will take place on 25 March at 2:30pm.

The Department for Transport launched the Rental Vehicle Security Scheme in December 2018 with the aim of increasing counter-terrorism awareness and preparedness across the sector to mitigate the risk of rental vehicles being used as weapons in acts of terror.

The voluntary scheme, which is open to all UK vehicle hire firms offering short-term rental to consumers, has been developed in collaboration with the BVRLA and other key industry partners, and requires participating firms to meet a set of requirements outlined in a 10-point Code of Practice.

You can register to join the webinar on the BVRLA website.
