As the new horizon of 2026 approaches, Chief Executive Toby Poston and the BVRLA’s senior management team have been working on a new three-year business pan, to build on the successes achieved in recent years while addressing areas where members have told the association it needs to do more.

The plan is focused on three key areas:

  1. Delivering Decarbonisation: The defining challenge of our generation. The BVRLA is working to deliver a supporting business and policy environment that works for all business models and vehicle types.
  2. Regulatory Scrutiny: The regulatory burden on business is bigger and more uncertain than ever. The BVRLA is working with regulators to deliver a proportionate regime that works for both businesses and their customers. At the same time, the association needs to maintain a self-regulatory regime that adapts to new industry trends and provides credibility to customers.
  3. Ready for Change: Uncertainty is the new norm and the BVRLA must maintain the resources, relationships and resilience to adapt to every challenge our industry faces.
