The BVRLA has been invited to present at the DVLA’s Fleet User Group, taking place today (16 February) on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the vehicle rental and leasing sectors.
Director of Fleet Services, Amanda Brandon, will present data from the BVRLA’s Business Impact Surveys conducted throughout last year to give a status update on the industry.
Amanda will also cover the BVRLA’s approach to working with government throughout the pandemic to help ensure support for the sector. This includes securing essential status for vehicle rental, contributing to operational guidance for the easing of lockdown and ensuring furlough was extended.
The BVRLA will be working closely with the DVLA throughout 2021 on its programme to move more of its services to a bulk electronic system.
