The BVRLA has released its Leasing Broker Survey report for the half year ending June 2021, showing that the BVRLA broker channel fleet grew by 8% to 392,993 compared to the end of H1 2020.
The total vehicle fleet size reached a new high in H1 2021 and has continued to grow throughout the pandemic. New vehicle contracts have returned to growth after falling last year. The number of new car contracts rose 22% year-on-year in H1 2021 and vans by 23%, compared to falls of 13% and 12% respectively for the same period last year.
