What are consumers buying in 2024?

Delegates attending the Residual Value & Remarketing (RVR) Forum at the end of this month will be able to hear from – and put questions to – a panel exploring what and how consumers will be buying in 2024.

Karl Lord of Enterprise will chair a panel featuring Malcolm Fryer of BYD, Richard Norris of Drive Green, Stuart Pearson of British Car Auctions (BCA) and Jason Cranswick of Norton Way Group. The panel will also look at electric vehicles, how consumer behaviour is changing, and how the economy may influence consumers this year.

Derren Martin, Director of Evaluations at cap hpi will present a session using data from valuations at the end of 2023 to discuss the likely trends going forward.

The first RVR Forum of 2024 will be hosted at BCA in Perry Barr on Thursday 29 February. As well as taking part in the panel, Stuart will also present on the car and van markets from BCA’s viewpoint and what can be expected for the rest of 2024.

Subsequent RVR forums will take place on 13 June at GMW Ora in Solihull and on 20 November, location to be confirmed. Attending the forums requires an annual subscription fee of £600+VAT. A limited number of spots are still available and can be secured via the Forum page. Each subscription grants a member two tickets to each forum.
