Updated Government advice requests working from home

In response to the changing situation around the spread of coronavirus, the UK Government has issued guidance that requests the public to work from home if they can, as of Monday 13 December until further notice.

The latest guidance, named ‘Plan B’, also makes the wearing of face coverings compulsory in most public indoor venues – excluding hospitality – extending the guidance announced in late November. As with previous recommendations around working from home, anybody who cannot work from home should continue to go into work, and employers are encouraged to consider whether home working is appropriate for workers facing mental or physical health difficulties, or those with a particularly challenging home working environment.

Full details of Plan B are outlined on the Gov.uk website.
