Face coverings in rental branches

Following the announcements by the Prime Minister at the weekend, face coverings need to be worn by staff and public in public facing areas from 4:00am on 30 November. This includes rental branches and where your staff are going into other business premises.

Full details on when to wear a face covering on the GOV.UK website

Members may wish to revisit their risk assessments on COVID compliance and determine what aspects need to be introduced to protect staff.

In addition, any signage on mask wearing which may have been removed should be reinstated where appropriate. You may also wish to advise staff on your stance with regards to people refusing to wear a face covering now that it is a legal requirement again.
