Over fifty members joined last week's Residual Value and Remarketing (RVR) forum hosted by International Motors; the home of GWM ORA, Isuzu and Subaru in the UK.
Speakers from One Auto API, Autotrader and Grant Thornton shared their views on the used car marketplace, challenges of supply/demand, and the economic outlook.
Rupert Pontin, in his new role at One AutoAPI, provided some interesting comparators with the last economic downturn in 2008/9, to help businesses plan ahead for the next few months.
Geoff Grindle, Chairman of the Forum and RVR Committee, split the forum attendees into three break-out sessions which allowed for more debate and discussion on the used market, product development and legislative disruptors in 2024.
Presentations from the event can be downloaded from the RVR Forums page.
Taking place three times annually, each RVR Forum gathers experts and practitioners from across the BVRLA's membership to encourage discussion and debate, sharing information and best practice.
