Rental members see value in Car and Van Rental Report

The BVRLA’s recent ground-breaking Car and Van Rental Report has been well received by members who have logged on to access the full 55-page report free of charge via the BVRLA website.

The report published last week is the culmination of six separate research projects undertaken by the association in 2018, including a survey of 4,500 customers, a market-sizing omnibus survey, an operators’ study, a series of senior executive interviews and detailed analysis of both the economic impact and sustainability credentials of the rental sector.

The BVRLA has received feedback from a number of rental members praising the merits of the report and the association would like to invite more members to share their views.

Margaret Speirs, Operations Manager, Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental and BVRLA Rental Committee Chair, said:

“The BVRLA Car and Van Rental report is an excellent piece of work containing a great insight into our sector. It will be very useful to our future marketing activity.”

Ben Lawson, Vice President Mobility and Project Development, Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK & Ireland said:

“The industry has a key role to play in the delivery of integrated mobility networks that will help tackle congestion and improve air quality in our cities. But that’s only possible if you understand consumer behaviour when it comes to emerging technologies, the sharing economy and how people choose to travel.

“The BVRLA has gone a long way to broaden that understanding with this study.”
