Get involved in Fleets in Charge conference breakout sessions

There are just over six weeks to go until the BVRLA’s 2022 Fleets in Charge Conference. The event will serve as an opportunity to network with potential business partners and get a wide range of perspectives from across the electric vehicle ecosystem.

There will be two breakout streams in the afternoon, each offering a choice between two interactive sessions. Delegates will have the opportunity to pose questions to the expert panellists.

First breakout:

Option 1: The new normal: Explaining emerging business models

Confirmed speakers include Claire Miller of Octopus EV (bundled leasing/salary sacrifice and vehicle to grid), Rob Gwynn of Volta Trucks (electric truck as a service) and Rui Ferreira of Onto (electric car subscriptions).

Option 2: Greener Futures: Carbon accounting and the ESG agenda

Featuring Tom Thackray of CBI (emerging ESG frameworks) and Tim Bailey of Northgate (a van rental perspective) among others.

Second breakout:

Option 1: Innovation zone: What's next for the Industry?

With Colin Ferguson of The Algorithm People (route optimisation and fleet decarbonisation), William Darby of Element Energy (hydrogen fleets), and John Holland from Momentum Dynamics (wireless charging).

Option 2: Second life and beyond: Exploring the world of used BEVs

Including Andy Eastlake of Zemo Partnership (consumer education), Lauren Pamma of the Green Finance Institute (used market funding), Matt Cleevely of Cleevely EV (used EV aftermarket) and Meryem Brassington from Lex Autolease (a funder’s perspective).

The full-day event will feature a Government View session, with a presentation and Q&A involving senior policymakers, which will kick off the agenda. The main session will cover the journey to zero emission fleets, with three panels each focusing on the themes of Supply, Demand and Infrastructure.

Physical tickets are limited and available to buy online now, with BVRLA members benefiting from a discounted rate.

The conference will take place at 1 Birdcage Walk in Westminster, London from 10am to 3.30pm (followed by drinks reception until 5pm) on Thursday 7 July 2022.
