Fleets in Charge goes face-to-face with Summer 2022 conference

After two successful digital events, the BVRLA’s annual Fleets in Charge Conference is being hosted in person for the first time, at One Birdcage Walk in London on Thursday 7 July. Featuring senior government officials and experts from the automotive and fleet sectors, the day-long conference will also offer breakout sessions, panel discussions and networking opportunities.

The Fleets in Charge programme has been building over the last couple of years, exploring the latest technologies and business models and analysing the surrounding policy environment. This year’s conference will offer dedicated sessions assessing the status of EV demand, supply and infrastructure. It will also explore how electrification is changing business models and operating environments across the fleet industry.

BVRLA Chief Executive, Gerry Keaney, said: “The government has set ambitious targets when it comes to achieving Net Zero and our industry plays a vital role in meeting them. The Fleets in Charge Conference embraces our collective responsibility in driving road transport decarbonisation, giving a voice to a diverse range of fleet operators and mobility providers.”

In addition to the content of the main agenda, spanning a main conference hall and separate breakout rooms, the physical Fleets in Charge Conference will provide a host of networking opportunities, a drinks reception and chances to hear from a select number of event partners. The partners for Fleets in Charge in 2022 include The AA, The Algorithm People, Arval UK, bp pulse and Zen Auto.

For delegates unable to attend the full conference in person, digital tickets will also be available that offer access to the main agenda presentations and selected breakout sessions. Digital tickets will be available to buy from May. Physical tickets are limited and available to buy online now, with BVRLA members benefiting from a discounted rate.
