The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has published a consultation on the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA) draft guidance for businesses on the price transparency provisions.

The DMCCA applies to all consumer-facing businesses. The guidance covers proposed dos and don'ts when it comes to price transparency. This will have an impact on all member businesses and will be particularly relevant to rental members, brokers and any leasing members dealing directly with consumers.

The CMA is providing the opportunity for interested members to attend an online meeting on the guidance document.

The event takes place at 1.30pm on 2 September (online), more information and register at this link: Consultation events: draft guidance for businesses on the price transparency provisions of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 | CMA Connect.
