In conjunction with Crown Commercial Service (CCS), the BVRLA is creating a new resource to help vehicle hire suppliers to understand the public sector's requirement for suppliers to produce an organisational Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP).
Failure to publish a plan will lead to non-selection on public sector business and frameworks. CCS will be releasing a framework tender in late August which includes this requirement.
This subject matter may sound daunting at first, but the BVRLA would advise all suppliers to give Andrew Smith, CCS' Lead, the opportunity to demystify it.
The webinar will cover:
- An overview of PPN06/21
- Basics of what is needed in your CRP
- Areas that must be covered in the plan
- The template to be used
- What not to do
Expert insights are being captured and compiled in early May and will be made available to BVRLA members shortly after.
