As part of the association’s preparation plans for the arrival of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) on 25th May, all BVRLA staff will undergo training on the regulations prior to its launch.

Staff will attend presentations and will complete an e-learning module. BVRLA Training and Development Manager, Duncan McMillan said: “There is probably no more pressing operational challenge facing businesses today than GDPR. Having the right processes in place and making sure that employees are adequately trained will help to protect members from the risk of non-compliance.”

The BVRLA continues to provide support and guidance to members to help with their preparations for the new GDPR rules

Leasing brokers are reminded that there GDPR is a module within the BVRLA e-Learning Platform. Members can contact the BVRLA training team to find out more about subscribing to the system.
