The BVRLA was joined by 60 members and guest speakers at last week’s Technical and Operational Management Forum, with a particular focus on hybrids and connected vehicles.
The main topics of discussion were around the issues of data access. Who should be responsible for deleting data left in vehicles post rental and at the end of a lease contract? Also discussed was how leasing companies can use telematics to enhance the driver experience and how barriers to success can be overcome when adding more electric vehicles to fleets. Hydrogen fuel cell as an alternative fuel option was also explained.
Members can view the presentations from the Forum here via the BVRLA website.
The BVRLA would like to thank event sponsor Toyota GB and host venue Ashfield House in Leicestershire.
The next Technical and Operational Management Forum is scheduled to take place on 7 June in Daventry. To find out more or to book a place contact BVRLA Events Manager, Fran Hampson.
