Update on DVLA and the Post Office

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has confirmed that the Post Office will continue to provide a service to bulk tax vehicles over three years old and electric vehicles, with a contract until the end of March 2024.

“Post Office Ltd provides a limited range of DVLA services and an extension to the current contract has been agreed until 31 March 2024. We want our customers to be able to access our services as quickly and as easily as possible and the role of front office counter services will form part of the considerations of future service offerings, utilising government agreements if necessary.”

The DVLA has also confirmed it has a dedicated team working on its services for bulk customers and it has reassured the BVRLA it plans to engage with the association and members over the coming months as to what these services will cover.

The BVRLA will keep members updated on progress. Contact [email protected] with any questions.
