Last Thursday saw the BVRLA’s digital ‘Fleets in Charge’ conference take place for a second year, with over 360 delegates able to interact with expert panels, share information and network.
The live polling and Q&A sessions enabled delegates to get involved and the varied sessions kept people engaged throughout – the average attendee stayed for over 3 hours. Attendees have been keen to share how insightful they found the event, saying:
“The content was great. The panel of experts was fantastic!”
“BVRLA brought together diverse experts and quizzed them using an experienced auto journalist to help the attendees better understand the key issues for fleets.”
Interactive polls ran throughout the session to canvas delegates’ views and inform the panel discussions.
Within those results, it was clear that the majority (63.5%) feel the UK is currently behind the current phase-out target of 2030, while more than one in three separately claimed that the Chancellor should prioritise support for Heavy Goods Vehicles and Light Commerical Vehicles.
The association is collecting feedback via a survey and invites attendees who have not done so already to complete it online.
All video content from the event is being collated and will be available shortly. In the meantime, the Road to Zero Report Card – Supply, Demand, and Infrastructure and ‘Driving Down Emissions – the Road to COP26’ videos played during the conference are available to watch again on the BVRLA’s YouTube channel.
