Remote learning Fair Wear & Tear pilot well received

The new remote learning pilot of the long-established BVRLA Fair Wear & Tear Standard for Cars training course has received positive feedback on the content, interactivity and delivery.

The online course follows a similar format to the association’s successful classroom-based session focusing on Cars and MPVs up to 8 seaters.

To deliver an effective learning experience, the course has been adapted to facilitate the hands-on vehicle inspection section of the training by using real vehicles via interactive methods.

Assessing the condition of a vehicle at the end of a lease is fundamental to BVRLA members' business proposition. This course is designed to teach anyone in the industry about the practical application of the BVRLA's Fair Wear & Tear Standards and Code of Conduct. This new version has also been designed for those that lease or rent vehicles themselves.

Having attended the pilot of the new course, Dean Brunger, Network Manager, OEM & Logistics at Arval UK said; “The course worked surprisingly well. I would give it a 10/10. My expectations were fully met, in fact it covered parts that I hadn’t considered such as the differences of approach between cars, also tyres."
