Over 3,400 firms sign-up to ACT Awareness e-Learning

The National Counter Terrorism Policing’s public-facing campaign, ACT, is helping organisations to build awareness and preparedness in the face of a terrorist threat.

An Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) e-Learning package has been designed to help organisations train their staff and so far over 3,400 businesses nationwide have made use of the resource.

The training is free-of-charge and consists of seven modules designed to teach staff about the threat to the public from terrorism and how to diminish it, such as spotting the signs of suspicious behaviour or how to react during a firearms or weapons attack.

The course has been developed by the National Counter Terrorism Security Office and is designed for all types of UK businesses.

The Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) Awareness e-Learning can be accessed via the BVRLA website.
