New ministers confirmed

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has appointed his new Cabinet and teams of junior ministers.

As they are new to those roles, the association does not know yet what changes they may wish to implement. The BVRLA will update members in due course, with details on what the association is doing in response and the key areas of focus for upcoming campaigns.

In line with the new Chancellor Jeremy Hunt taking up his new role, the BVRLA continues to encourage members to support the ongoing #SeeTheBenefit campaign, which is seeking to secure greater clarity on EV company car tax rates and see the rates kept low for longer.

Members can send a pre-written letter to their local MP to back the campaign via the Company Car page. The BVRLA will share an open letter to the Chancellor ahead of next week’s fiscal statement (due to take place on 17 November).
