The BVRLA has published an updated version of the light commercial vehicle (LCV) Fair Wear and Tear Guide.
Orders for hard copy guides can now be placed. Digital versions are available, co-branded to include your logo.
The new Guide includes clarification and updates on:
- All keys have to be in working order
- If an electric or hybrid vehicle, all charging leads should be returned and they should be damage free
- Panel cracking or deviation from the original shape is not acceptable
- If the vehicle has been wrapped or emblems added, the customer needs to follow the guidance from the leasing company as to whether this should be removed prior to returning the vehicle
- What is meant by uneven wear on tyres and examples have been given.
Copies of the new guide can be ordered on the BVRLA website. However, if you would like to order other BVRLA guides at the same time, email [email protected] for an order form, so postage costs can be combined.
For those members who already subscribe to the LCV guide via an e-licence, links will be updated for you. If you wish to purchase an e-licence, email [email protected] for more information.
