In a change from previous opening hours published, the DVLA has had an outbreak of positive COVID-19 cases at its contact centre in Swansea and has revised its opening times over the Christmas period.
This means the contact centre will now be closed from 24 December until 4 January 2021. The DVLA has passed on apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause BVRLA members.
Although there will be no phone service throughout this period, the online service for viewing and checking a driving licence code view and check driving licence service will continue to be available. As you know this will allow customers to generate a check code in advance of hiring a car.
