The Industry and Parliament Trust (IPT) hosted a Parliamentary Seminar for the BVRLA at Westminster this week. Attendees included members who have recently taken part in the association’s Industry Champions initiative.
The agenda included a tour of the Palace of Westminster, an introduction to the work of the Houses of Commons and Lords, a session on Select Committee and Parliamentary questions, a talk from an MP and a session on legislation.
The BVRLA wants to make sure MPs are thinking about fleets and understand the importance of the industry, it is asking members to sign up to support the MP engagement programme and become Industry Champions.
