Members and MPs to discuss electric vehicles at Parliamentary Reception

One government Minister, a select committee chair and more than 80 other members, parliamentarians and guests have already confirmed their attendance at this year’s BVRLA Summer Parliamentary Reception.

The reception, which takes place on Tuesday 18 June, from 4 to 6pm at the Terrace Pavilion in the House of Commons, will focus on the steps the rental and leasing industry needs the government to take to increase electric vehicle uptake.

BVRLA members register around 50% of new vehicles annually, including approximately a third of all new electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The association is asking members to attend and help promote the good work the sector is already undertaking as well as to share their views about how the government can help accelerate the takeup of electric vehicles.

The Summer Parliamentary Reception is a free event open for BVRLA members to attend. For further information about the event or to confirm your attendance please contact [email protected].
