Join us at Parliamentary Reception

The BVRLA would like to again extend an invitation to members to attend a destination charging focused Parliamentary Reception this World EV Day, 9 September.

Kindly hosted by Sarah Green MP, the Reception will take place at the Terrace Pavilion in the House of Commons, Westminster.

The reception represents a key event as part of the ongoing Bon VoyCharge campaign. Destination charging efficiently makes best use of time a vehicle will already be left idle, for example at hotels and tourist destinations. The campaign has been running throughout the summer to highlight best practices to businesses across the UK, with direct policy asks being communicated as part of next month’s reception.

The campaign aims to:

  • Shine a spotlight on the need to plan and install destination chargers
  • Work with policymakers as well as the hospitality and tourism sectors to secure greater installation of destination chargepoints
  • Celebrate good practice, raising public awareness and confidence in those destination chargepoints already operating well in the UK.

Members are invited to join MPs and industry stakeholders at the Reception, advance registration is required. The BVRLA is looking to assemble a diverse mixture of members from across the industry to share their stories with the politicians and policymakers who will be attending.

If you would like to attend, email [email protected] to express interest, the association will be in touch to confirm your place.

The Bon VoyCharge campaign is a partnership between the BVRLA and Autotrader, ChargeUK, EVA England, UK Hospitality, UKinbound and zapmap. Supporters include Arnold Cark, Drivalia, Europcar and Hertz.
