Battery expert Dr Billy Wu has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the BVRLA’s upcoming Fleets in Charge Deep Dive.
Dr Wu co-leads the Electrochemical Science and Engineering group at Imperial College London. His research focuses on translating fundamental science into engineering applications for batteries and hydrogen fuel cells. Cross cutting activities include new energy materials, modelling, understanding degradation, thermal management and control.
Taking place in central London on Tuesday 16 May this Deep Dive will focus on battery health and will include a stellar cast of experts from the Department for Transport, Nissan, About:Energy, Intertek, Altelium Ltd, MOBA, Future Motion and Williams Advanced Engineering.
The half-day event is titled ‘Battery Health: Supercharge your knowledge’ and is being chaired and hosted in partnership with AutoTrader Insights, who will be providing essential context on the new and used consumer EV market.
